Hello, my name is Flannery Patterino and I’m currently a Fashion Merchandising student at the University of SUNY Oneonta in New York. My dream career in the fashion industry is to become a wardrobe fashion stylist. Some of my favorite fashion stylists are Law Roach, Thomas Carter Phillips, Mimi Cuttrell, and Chloe & Chenelle Delgadillo. I’m a big fan of fashion shows from the 90s/early 2000s like Betsey Johnson, Thierry Mugler, and Randolph Duke.
I’m from NYC and had the opportunity to take a couple of pre-college classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology. I took classes where I learned to predict future fashion trends, conducted photo shoots, and learn about the international fashion industry. Along with the FIT classes I also took sewing classes to learn the basics of the design elements. With all that plus my future fashion merchandising degree, I will be able to follow that goal.
